The updated driver’s license test in Nepal consists of both written and practical components, with a minimum passing score of 70 out of 100 points required for each test. For two-wheelers (motorbikes and scooters), the practical test includes tasks like navigating a figure 8 course, crossing narrow planks, making U-turns with proper signaling, following traffic lights, navigating speed bumps, stopping and starting on ramps, and demonstrating safe driving habits. Four-wheelers (cars) have similar tasks with minor differences, such as allowances for two edge contacts in the figure 8 maneuver, parking in designated areas, and additional emphasis on seatbelt usage. It’s essential to practice in a safe environment and stay updated with the latest guidelines from the Department of Transport Management for a successful test experience.
